According to Football Transfers, Man United is looking to sign Mauro Icardi on loan in January.
This unexpected move came in the context of Erik ten Hag urgently looking for a new solution for the Red Devils' attack. Man United's 2023 summer signing Rasmus Hojlund did not score in his 13th Premier League match. Many people have reasons to urge Ten Hag to buy more strikers, to reduce pressure on the 20-year-old player.

And Icardi is a worthy name for Man United to consider . Galatasaray was absolutely correct in deciding to sign the Argentine star from PSG for 10 million euros. Icardi performed well in Türkiye, scoring 23 goals in 25 matches in all competitions. He also played well when facing the Red Devils at Old Trafford in the Champions League.
Man United will have to be more aggressive in this deal when Icardi is being sought after by Real Madrid . Besides Icardi, the Red Devils also have their eyes on Serhou Guirassy, the striker who has a release clause of 15 million pounds in his contract with Stuttgart. They have also been linked with Lois Openda, but would not have the finances to buy the RB Leipzig star in January.
